Karen Olson Karen Olson is an internationally recognized violist, recording artist, composer and healer. She combines her unique background as a musician, Reiki master, and intuitive holistic healer, by providing interactive, fun and inspiring concerts and programs. Karen’s music has been called “jazzical”: classically oriented jazz fusion that has New Age and World Music influences. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from The Juilliard School, a Master’s Degree from Yale University and a Ph.D. from New York University and she is a certified practitioner and teacher in several healing modalities including Theta Healing. Karen performs for audiences all over the world, is a member of the New York Pops, her CD Timeless Being ranked #1 on multiple charts, Karen edited a top-selling viola scale book for ECSchirmer and she has and has performed with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr. and Liza Minnelli. Karen plays on Thomastik-Infeld strings.
